Brief Description
It was the principal seat of the Earls of Desmond. Their castle stood where the Mall joins Denny Street, which with its lovely Georgian houses leading to the town park, is one of Ireland’s most elegant thoroughfares. Tralee is the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula.

Brief Description
Town owes its foundation to monastery founded in the 6th century by St Jarlath. Has two Cathedrals. Near the town is the reputed site of 1000BC battle. Nearby Ballyhaunis has an Augustinian friary of 1641 restored in 1938
