The Kilfenora Ceili Band has been in the business for ninety-six (96) years. Pretty soon, we can expect the band to commemorate their centenary. The band had their humble beginnings in rural community gatherings way back in the 1900s.

To date, their present worldwide success in the new millennium just keeps on growing. It seems that in every age group for each generation has filled up the openings flawlessly, with talents that can easily grasp the music of their lineage. The band is capable of tracing its history during the latter part of the 1800s. During that period, music was an essential key in the day to day living of people who resided in the rural part of Ireland.
