Brief Description
Fifty miles of navigable water sprinkled with 154 islands making up Lower and Upper Lough Erne. An area of religious settlements, castles and nature reserves among lakes teeming with fish. At Devenish Island there are remains of a monastery founded by St Molaise in 564 or 571. Also one of Irelands finest round towers 81ft high with carved cornice of faces with beards and moustaches. On Boa Island are two very pagan double sided idols

Course fishing for roach, bream, pike, perch. Rudd and eels. Salmon in the rivers. Lough Melvin is noted for trout.
Bird watching. Cruiser Hire, boat hire and pleasure boats and ferries. Nature trails.
